The mandate of the Fondation Espoir Jeunesse Argenteuil is to provide financial support for social integration, recovery and therapeutic activities for young people (0-18 years) with mental health problems.
Julien joined the Board in 2022 and brings his expertise in communications and writing. Motivated by his interest in mental health issues and a desire to engage in his community, he took on the role of president during the recent major changes to the Board.
Alexyane Laplante-Legault

Alexyane joined the Board in 2022. As a sport enthusiast and health and physical education teacher, Alexyane cares deeply about global health. Her experience in education has shown her that mental health issues are prevalent in schools.
Tamara Clerc-Ducasse
Treasurer
Tamara joined the Board in 2023. A few years ago, she was diagnosed with anxiety, which made it difficult for her to go out in public. Now she’s better and is committed to supporting FEJA’s mission.
Jade Lavigne-Aubin
Secretary
Jade is a board member since 2022. After moving away from the region for her studies and work, she returned to her roots in the region where she grew up. Through her work as a psychoeducator and her daily contact with mental health, her involvement with FEJA enables her to contribute in a different way to the well-being of the next generation.
Anne-Marie Trottier
Board member
Anne-Marie joined the Board in 2023. She is a specialized educator at CISSS des Laurentides. With the well-being of our region’s young people at heart, she has been working closely with young people with mental health problems since 2005. She has been involved with FEJA for some time now, and is proud to continue to be part of it as it responds to the needs of Argenteuil’s youth.
Cassandre Bastarache
Board member
Growing up in our beautiful Argenteuil region, she was happy to support CMRA’s post-COVID return. FEJA’s mission is important to her, as she knows that young people dealing with mental health issues need extra support.
Isabelle Guay
Board member
She has been a dedicated CMRA volunteer since 2015. With a child who has special needs, the cause is very close to her heart. As a former teacher, she understands the mental health challenges that young people in the region can face.
Our story
2003 - Establishment of FEJA
FEJA was founded by Roland Richer and René Ouellette to offer equine therapy activities and address unmet needs in the school, and health and social services networks. A generous donation from the Club des Lions allowed them to fund this activity for one youth.
2024 - Contest
Launch of a contest as part of Bell Let's Talk.. The goal was to find inspiration for our new logo and to enrich our mission as a Foundation.
