The mandate of the Fondation Espoir Jeunesse Argenteuil is to provide financial support for social integration, recovery and therapeutic activities for young people with mental health problems.
Our success stories
In January 2024, we launched our first contest as part of Bell Cause Day. Young people in the region were invited to send us a drawing or text on what mental health means to them. We had 50 participants, who sent us 20 drawings and 35 texts. Our new logo is largely inspired by one of the drawings.
FEJA has come up with a solution that enables several young people being monitored for youth mental health by the CSSS d’Argenteuil, CISSS des Laurentides, to continue their studies once school ends in June: specialized accompaniment at day camp, with one counselor for every 2 or 3 children. Because during the long summer vacations, young people boycotted their meetings and were unable to attend regular day camps and summer camps due to various integration problems. Resultﾠ: a dozen children can also enjoy the summer and develop like other children.
Upcoming events
The CMRA is in its 14th year. This major event is FEJA’s only fundraising campaign. Whether you’re a runner, a walker or a volunteer, taking part in our event is a way of contributing to the well-being of young people with mental health problems in the region.
Relay race
A 100 km relay course criss-crosses our beautiful Argenteuil region. You’ll have to run it in relays between team members, or on your own if you dare to take up the challenge.
The course is suitable for all levels, with several categories available (performance, recreational, little extra).
Marche à relais
A 50 km relay course to explore our wonderful Argenteuil region. You’ll have to run it in relays between members of your team, or on your own if you’re up to the challenge.
La relève
Approx. 1 km race for youngsters (aged 3 and over). Afternoon start (time to be confirmed). Prizes drawn among participants.
Young children must be accompanied by an adult. CMRA relies on the good judgment of parents to determine whether or not their child needs to be accompanied.
